Heh, yeah right. Being out of the house every day for so long means that I have a crapload of domestic activities that need my attention (though I will be going through my messages and DA Inbox over the next few days, because I love all of you and I've really missed being around on the site! ^_^). But on top of my work-list is the planning for my upcoming move from New Jersey to Minnesota, which I'm pretty much handling myself while my husband is at work. We've decided not to use a moving company - too many scams and horror stories, not to mention very pricey - so I'm going to rent us a cargo trailer and we'll pack and tow our stuff on our own. That means we won't be able to fit everything and stuff has to be sold off before we leave, so there's a lot to sort through. And right now, neither Bill nor I have jobs on the other side in Minnesota. We're going to be staying with my family, so at least we'll have somewhere to live, but a long term-stay with my parents while both of us are unemployed is...not optimal. O_o So if you pray, visualize, think positive thought, cast spells, or what have you, I definitely would appreciate it.
Grrr, I'm also upset that my Hitori Ref sheet [link] didn't make it into the Finals for the Mascot Contest over at
I know it's just sour grapes, but I was pretty happy with that, and other people seemed to like it, and with only 30 or so entires I was at least hoping to make the top 10 Finals... *sigh* Ah well, that's just kvetching. I'm mostly just unhappy about it because it was the only piece of art I got done in 7 weeks, and I had to clear my schedule just to do that much. I really wished I'd used that time to enter the Beachwear Bonanza over at 
- I'm not sure I could have gotten a full finished piece done but at least I would have had more fun. Bah. Kvetching. Oh, but a more positive note, every one should go see The Avengers because it's amazing. ^_^ I loved the whole thing from start to finish!
